From perusal of the record, it transpires that there is nothing on record to show that as to on what date they married and the complete online registration application has not been supplied to this Court.
The police will enquire into the veracity of the marriage and if police comes to the conclusion that there is real threat to the petitioners and the marriage between the parties is genuine, the petitioners may be granted protection in the light of observations made by the Apex Court in Lata Singh vs. State of U.P., AIR 2006 SC 2522.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is partly allowed.
