Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has applied for the benefit of Pradhanmantri Gramin Awas Yojna before the competent authority. The petitioner contends that he was eligible for grant of such benefit. A representation in this regard, with supporting testimonials, was moved before the competent authority by the petitioner. Apparently on some complaint, petitioner's case was not considered for grant of benefits under the aforesaid scheme.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent-authorities are directed to pass fresh orders on the application of the petitioner for grant of benefit under the aforesaid scheme after giving opportunity of hearing and also furnishing adverse material against him before passing such orders. The exercise will be completed within three months from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh representation.
The writ petition is disposed of.
