It was reported that Shri A.R. Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner has died, and therefore, vide order dated 24.1.2018 this Court had directed that notice be issued to the petitioner to engage another counsel. Perusal of the office report dated 13.4.2018 shows that notice was issued to the petitioner to engage another counsel fixing 12.3.2018.
In view of the aforesaid, service of notice upon the petitioner is deemed sufficient. The case has been called out in the revised list. None appeared for the petitioner to press the present writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
