The petitioner has assailed the order dated 21.11.2008 passed by the respondent No.2 in the instant writ petition transferring him from the office of Bhumi Sanrakshan Adhikari, FirozabadIV to the office of Bhumi Sanrakshan Adhikari, Firozabad-I.
Sri Deepak Verma, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the order of transfer assailed in the instant writ petition has been cancelled by order dated 30.12.2008. The order of cancellation of the transfer dated 30.12.2008 has been brought in the record in the counter affidavit and is appended as Annexure CA-1.
The cause of action on which the writ petition was founded does not survive. The writ petition is dismissed.
