Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition seeks quashing of the order dated 14 March 2018, in terms of which the petitioner has been suspended from service in contemplation of disciplinary proceedings. The order of suspension records that despite numerous opportunities given to the petitioner to produce his educational testimonials, he refused to produce the same before the competent authority. The Court further notes that on 14 March 2018 itself, a charge sheet has also been issued to the petitioner calling upon him to furnish his explanation.
On an overall conspectus of the aforesaid facts, this Court finds no ground warranting interference with the order of suspension. The writs, as prayed for, are consequently refused. This petition, however, is disposed of with the observation that the respondents shall endeavour to conclude the inquiry proceedings with expedition.
