The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondent no.2-Director of Higher Education, Allahabad to take a decision on the letter of the Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur dated 14 June 2018 whereby the College has recommended the payment of honorarium to the petitioner on the post of Lecturer w.e.f. 2 April 2018, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure-12 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending.
The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-Director of Higher Education, Allahabad to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for payment of honorarium on the post of Lecturer w.e.f. 2 April 2018 taking into consideration the letter of the respondent no.4-Secretary, Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur, Annexure-12 to the writ petition, expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
