This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the letter dated 1.12.2017, issued by the respondent no.3, rejecting the proposal of re-engagement of the petitioner, for a further period of six months with effect from 13.10.2017 to 12.4.2018.
I do not find substance in the present writ petition, inasmuch as the period proposed for re-engagement, has already expired about three months ago. Therefore, no cause of action survives. Consequently writ petition is dismissed .
