Heard Sri Prashant Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri S.P. Singh, learned standing counsel for State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief:
"i. A writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to decide the representation dated 6.9.2017 and 22.5.2018 within span of time and consider the claim of the petitioner no.3 for grant of their salary from the State Exchequer.
ii. Any other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper under the present circumstances of the case.
iii. To award to the cost of present writ petition."
Grievance of the petitioner No.3 is that for redressal of her grievances, she has already submitted representations dated 06.09.2017 and 22.05.2018 before the respondent No.2 which is pending.
Learned standing counsel submits that the respondent No.2 shall take appropriate decision strictly in accordance with law on the representations of the petitioner, within a time bound period.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.5 to decide the representation of the petitioner No.3 strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within three weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh representation.
