This Special Appeal seeks the quashing of the judgment and order dated 15 January 2015 by which the writ petition filed by the appellant for a direction upon the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment as Assistant Teacher has been dismissed.
It transpires from the records that the petitioner was called for counselling on 26 September 2014 but his claim was not considered as the caste certificate of her husband had been submitted for claiming the benefit of reservation and it is subsequently that the petitioner filed the caste certificate of her father on 1 October 2014.
The respondents had to consider the caste certificate enclosed with the application form. This apart, the counselling was held on 26 September 2014 on which date the petitioner admittedly did not submit the caste certificate of her father.
The dismissal of the writ petition, therefore, does not call for any interference.
The Special Appeal is, accordingly, dismissed.
