This petition for writ is preferred to have expeditious investigation in Case Crime No. 0324 of 2017 relating to the offences under Section 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Kotwali City, District Mirzapur. The first information report was lodged on 18.09.2017.
There is no material on record to substantiate that the investigating agency is causing undue delay in the investigation.
Be that as it may, expeditious investigation is required to be made in each and every case. We deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ with the expectation that the investigating agency shall complete the investigation as early as possible and shall file a police report before the competent Court thereafter.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
