Heard learned counsel for the applicant, and learned A.G.A. for the State.
This bail application has been moved by the accused-applicant Arshad who is involved in Case Crime No. 80 of 2016, under Section 3/5/8 of Cow Slaughter Act, Section 3/11 Animal Cruelty Act and Section 482 I.P.C., Police Station-Mansurpur, District Muzaffar Nagar.
As per prosecution version, on 17.2.2016 at about 9:15 PM two persons were transporting two cow and a male calf in Mahindra Pickup vehicle.
Learned counsel for the applicant contends that the applicant is not named in the FIR and the applicant has been made accused only on the basis of his confessional statement before the police. He further contends that the applicant is languishing in jail since 21.11.2017.
Learned A.G.A., has opposed the prayer for bail and contends that there is criminal history of seven cases against the applicant.
