This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the Additional District Judge, Court No. 9, Allahabad to decide SCC Suit No. 26 of 2007 (Sri Thakur Sita Ramji Maharaj Virajman Vs Satya Prakash Kesarwani (deceased) through his LRs) within a stipulated time frame as provided by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out from the order sheet that the evidence of plaintif was concluded on 08.12.2014, and thereafter, the matter was listed on several dates, but no efective hearing has taken place. The several dates fixed for production of evidence of the tenant have been pointed out as also dates on which the Presiding Officer has remained absent or the Advocates were on strike.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the past 11 years, the matter is pending before the learned court below.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Additional District Judge, Court No. 9, Allahabad to conclude the hearing as expeditiously as possible and decide the suit within a period of eight months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the court concerned without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
