The only prayer made in the instant petition is for issuance of a direction to the Court below to decide Appeal No. 82/2013 expeditiously, within a time specified by this Court.
The petitioner is opposite party to the appeal. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that dates are being fixed for final hearing of the appeal.
Having regard to the fact that the appeal is of the year 2013, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the Appellate Court to decide the appeal expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments. In case, the substitution application is pending, as stated by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Appellate Court shall make endeavour to decide the said application expeditiously, before taking up the matter for final hearing.
