Section 2. Repeal and re- enactment with modifications of Presdent's Act no. 10 of 1973

The Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973, (hereinafter in this chapter referred to as the principal Act) is hereby repealed and re-enacted with the modifications set out in sections 3 to 18.
