Section 16. Protection of action taken in good faith

16. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or the Corporate Authority or the Appellate Officer or the Prescribed Authority in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or of any rules or orders made thereunder.
