Section 48. Power to issue directions

48.The State Government shall have the following powers also, namely :-

(a) to issue direction with respect to any matter required to be done by the University by or under this Act or the rules, the Statutes or the Ordinances made thereunder ;

(b) to order framing of Statutes on any subject.
