Section 25. Power of the State Government to prohibit unregistered nurses, midwives, health visitors arid auxiliary nurse midwives

The State Government may, by notification published in the Official Gazette, prohibit unregistered persons from practising as nurses, midwives, health visitors and auxiliary nurse­ midwives, and any unregistered person practising in contravention of such notification shall be liable, on conviction by a Magistrate of the First Class, to a fine not exceeding three hundred rupees.
