Section 25. Cessation of membership and filling up of casual vacancy of Member

25. Cessation of membership and filling up of casual vacancy of Member.—(1) A Member under clause (b) or clause (c) of sub-section (3) of section 22, shall cease to be a Member of the State Council on his cessation to the service by virtue of which he was appointed as a Member of the State Council.

(2) The Chairperson or any other Member appointed under any casual vacancy in the State Council under sub-section (3) of section 22, shall hold office only for the remainder of the term of the member in whose place he has been appointed.
