Section 2. Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:-

(a) "Prescribed" means prescribed by the Rules, Statutes and Regulations made under this Act;

(b) "Society" means the National Society for Promotion and Advancement of Legal Studies and Research registered under the 1Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli;

(c) "University" means the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University established under section 3 of this Act 2[hereinafter named as NALSAR University of law.]
