Section 5. Power to make rules

(1) the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.

(2) Every rule made under this Act by the State Government shall, as soon as may be after it is made, be laid before the State Legislature of Meghalaya.
