Section 173. Amendment of certain Acts

Save as otherwise provided in this Act, on and from the date of commencement of this Act, -

(i) In the Meghalaya Municipal Act (Assam Act 1956 as adapted by Meghalaya), after the existing clause (o) of sub-section (1) of Section 68 the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(p) A tax on Entertainments and Amusements.
