Petitioners have approached this Court
seeking the following reliefs:

“a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the
nature
of
mandamus
directing
the
respondent nos. 1 and 2 to provide
adequate protection to the petitioners from
respondent nos. 3 to 7, so that they may
live peaceful marital life.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the
petitioners that both the petitioners are major
and they belong to the same faith. It is further
submitted that the petitioners developed a
liking for each other, which has ended in love
and they have solemnized their Nikah on
09.07.2026.

Since the family members of petitioner
no. 1 are against this marriage, they are
giving out threats to kill both the petitioners.
