By means of the instant petition, the

petitioners seek the following reliefs:-

“(i) Issue a writ, order in the nature of Certiorari calling for record and quashing the communication dated 10^th November 2022 (Annexure No.7 to the writ petition), whereby the Respondents have imposed temporary ban on all appointments in Grant in aid schools of the State.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari calling for record and quashing the communication dated 13^th September 2022 (Annexure No.5 to the writ petition), whereby the Respondents have imposed temporary ban on ongoing selection process in Grant in aid schools of District Udham Singh Nagar.

(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the Respondents State Authorities to provide time extension for completing the advertisement dated 26^th July 2022 (Annexure No.2 to this writ Petition).

(iv) Issue any suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

(v) Award the cost of writ petition to the Petitioner.”

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 16.08.2023, WPMS No.3231 of 2022, Committee of Management R.M.P.P. Vidhyalaya Inter College Gurukul Narsan vs. State of Uttarakhand and others and connected cases.
