Applicant Ayush alias Anurag, is in judicial custody in FIR No. 483 of 2021, under Sections 354, 509 IPC, Section 11/12 and 13/14 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short, “the Act”) and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Police Station Bahadrabad, District Haridwar. He has sought his release on bail.

victim revealed that the applicant would follow on the way to the school; molest her; make obscene gestures. One day, the applicant threatened that victim on a video call that if the victim did not make nude call, he would make their recording public. Under compulsion, the victim removed her clothes from upper part of the body during video call. The applicant recorded it. Thereafter, the applicant, according to the FIR, pressurised the victim to establish physical relations with him. The victim denied for it. The applicant, according to the FIR, made the intimate video viral.

circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that

there is no reason to enlarge the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the bail application deserves to be rejected.
