By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs: - “(i) to issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos.1 & 2 to initiate the promotional exercise against the vacant post of Professor in the department of Prasooti Tantra Stri Rog forthwith under carrier advancement scheme as provided in the regulation 36(1) of Uttarakhand Ayurved University Regulation, 2015. (ii) to issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for personal promotion under the scheme known as carrier advancement scheme provided in the regulation 36(1) of Uttarakhand Ayurved University Regulation, 2015.” Having regard to the reliefs claimed in the writ petition, this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met if petitioner is permitted tomake arepresentation

petitioner has sought following reliefs: -

to initiate the promotional exercise
against the vacant post of Professor

Tantra Stri Rog forthwith under
carrier
advancement
scheme
as
provided in the regulation 36(1) of
Uttarakhand
Ayurved
University
Regulation, 2015.
(ii) to issue writ order or direction
in
the
nature
of
mandamus
directing
the
respondents
to
consider the candidature of the
petitioner for personal promotion
under the scheme known as carrier
advancement scheme provided in
the regulation
36(1)
of
Uttarakhand Ayurved
University
Regulation, 2015.”
Having regard to the reliefs claimed
in the writ petition, this Court thinks that
ends of justice would be met if petitioner
is permitted tomake arepresentation

and the competent authority is directed
to consider petitioner’s claim for
promotion, as made in her representation. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to petitioner to
make a representation to the Vice
Chancellor, Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harawala, Dehradun/ respondent no.2. If such representation
is made, within two weeks, the Vice Chancellor shall look into the matter and pass an appropriate speaking order in accordance with law within six weeks
from the date of filing the representation with certified copy of this order.
