This matter is heard through Video Conferencing. Heard on Correction Application MCRC No. 02 of 2022.
Instant petition was decided on the basis of amicable settlement between the parties on 02.12.2021. In fact, in the petition, the details of pending case has been given as Case No. 224 of 2020.
Now, a correction application has been filed on behalf of the petitioners that, in fact, the case number was not 224 of 2020, it is Case No.1156 of 2020. Perusal of the record reveals that Annexure-3 is the cognizance order, which has been passed in Criminal Case No. 1156 of 2020 .
Accordingly, the correction application is allowed.
Let the correction be carried out in the memo of parties in the petition within two days.
In the order dated 02.12.2021, passed by the Court, the case number shall be read as 1156 of 2020 instead of Case No. 224 of 2020.
