Heard learned counsel for the parties. Petitioner participated in a selection for Group ‘C’ post of Computer Programmercum-Operator held by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission pursuant to advertisement dated 20.11.2015. According to the petitioner, she was selected and her name was recommended by the Selecting Body, however, Appointing Authority has withheld appointment to the petitioner only on the ground that she possesses Bachelors Degree in Engineering; while, qualification required for the post was only Diploma in Engineering.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar controversy has been decided by this Court vide judgment dated 29.04.2019 rendered in WPSS No. 3623 of 2018 and other connected petitions.
Learned Deputy Advocate General does not dispute the submission made on behalf of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of judgment dated 29.04.2019 rendered in WPSS No. 3623 of 2018 and other connected petitions.
