Mr. Avidit Noliyal, Advocate for the petitioners submits that petitioners are major; they belong to same faith; they are in love affair; they married on 15.05.2019 as per Muslim Rituals. Copy of the Nikahnama is Annexure 3 to the writ petition; mother and maternal uncle of girl – petitioner no. 1 were against the marriage; they were extending life threats to the petitioners; consequently, in order to save their life, petitioners have approached this Court and this Hon’ble Court was pleased to grant protection to the petitioners.
Mr. Avidit Noliyal, Advocate for the petitioners further submits that now there is no threat perception and petitioners are living happily.
