The applicant seeks bail in connection with Case Crime no.58/2014, under Sections 6(1)11(2) of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act and Section 11 (A,D,F(Cha) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Police Station Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal.
Heard learned counsel for the parties, considered the grounds taken in the bail application and perused the documents on record.
It is the allegation against the applicant and others that the accused persons were carrying 21 cows and some calf (progenies) to the jungle for the purpose of slaughtering. Whereas two accused were apprehended on the spot, other two accused fled away. The applicant has no previous criminal history and is ready to furnish reliable sureties, if he is granted bail.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, a case of bail is made out in favour of the present applicant. The bail application is allowed. Let the accused-applicant be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M. / J.M., Kotdwar.
