Heard learned counsel for the appellant. Present application has been filed for remitting the amount of Rs.25,000/- to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chamoli.
Learned counsel for the applicant/appellant states that the present appeal was preferred against the judgment and award dated 05.04.2007 passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/District Judge, Chamoli in MACP Case No.16 of 1999. At the time of filing of the appeal the applicant/appellant deposited statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- in the Court. He further submitted that the appeal was finally allowed on 30.10.2007. He prayed that the statutory amount deposited in this Court may be remitted to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chamoli and be released in favour of the applicant/appellant as appeal filed by the applicant/appellant has already been allowed.
After hearing learned counsel for the applicant/appellant, it is directed that the amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited in this Court be remitted to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chamoli and also directed to release the amount in favour of the applicant/appellant.
Application stands disposed of.
