Bhowmik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Ms. A.S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. appearing for the respondents. In terms of the order dated 08.09.2017, Ms. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. informed this court that the petitioner has been released on 13.09.2017 and as such, this writ petition has become infructuous as the sole relief sought in this writ petition is that the respondents be directed to issue release order so that the petitioner can join the new place of posting in terms of the transfer order dated 10.08.2017. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
