This is an application filed by the applicants for releasing the amount deposited by the respondents No.1 & 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India has no objection to the same.
Considering the fact that judgment and order dated 13.06.2017 passed in L.A. APP. No.120/2013, titled as The Union of India & another vrs. Sri Birendra Debnath & others, has already attained finality, as can be inferred from the averments made in the application, the same is allowed.
The amount deposited by the respondent-Union of India in the Registry along with accrued interest, to which the applicants namely Sri Birendra Debnath and Smt. Renu Bala Debnath are entitled to, be released in their favour, to be directly remitted into their bank account(s).
The application stands disposed of.
