Heard Mr. A. Basak, the learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. R.C. Debnath, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
With the assistance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I have gone through the Case Diary and the materials available on record. In my opinion, this is not a fit case for custodial interrogation of the applicant.
Resultantly, in the event of arrest, the applicant namely, Sri Raju Lal Ghosh, who has been implicated in connection with R.K. Pur P.S. Case No.42/2017 under Sections 279/304 part II IPC and Section 177/184/187 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (amendment of 2015) shall be released on bail on his executing a P.R. Bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority subject to the condition that he shall make himself available for interrogation as and when called upon to do so by the arresting authority.
The application stands disposed of.
