The petitioner, whose nomination for election as Council Member of the Telangana State Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) and as Council Member of its Environmental Division (election notification dated 03-09-2025; election scheduled from 04.10.2025 to 18.10.2025) had been rejected under Regulation 23(e), sought a writ of mandamus under Article 226 declaring the rejection arbitrary and illegal, together with an interim direction under Section 151 CPC permitting him to contest, relying on an earlier order of this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2021 in W.P.No.20155 of 2021 and of the Karnataka High Court in W.P.No.30119/2025.
