Writ Petition No. 15733 of 2018 (High Court for the State of Telangana at Hyderabad; decided 17.11.2025; N. Tukaramji, J.) - The petitioner, an agriculturist of Mustikuntla Village, Bonakal Mandal, Khammam District, sought a writ of mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution directing respondent Nos. 2 to 4 (Commissioner of Police, Circle Inspector and SHO, Khammam/Bonakal) to provide police protection to respondent No. 5 (Gram Panchayat, Mustikuntla Village) pursuant to his requisition letter dated 15.04.2018, issued in implementation of the orders passed in W.P. No. 44560 of 2016 dated 21.12.2016; an interim application under Section 151 CPC to the same effect was also filed.
