This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No..l56 of 2023 pending on the file of learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-cum_ Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nizamabad District at Armoor, registered for the offences under sections 498-4 of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry and Prohibition Act.

Heard l\4r. l\4 Asaduddin F siddiqui, learned counsel for petitioners and Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, Iearned Additional public Prosecutor appearing for respondent-State and perused the record.

Though the petition is filed for quashing the proceedings, during the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners has restricted his prayer to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4 before the trial Court.
