This writ petition is filed praying this Court to declare the action of respondent No.2 in not taking necessary steps for tracing the petitioner's passport No.J7 16401 1 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law.

The case of the petitioner is that she is holding Indian Passport bearing No.J71640 11, which was missing while taking Xerox near Bhatia Bakery. It is the further case of tl-e petitioner that she has submitted a representation, dated 31.01.2024 to respondent No.2 uide application No.152O3 101241740404348. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.2, even after receipt of her representation dated 31 .Ol .2024 and even after lapse of duration of thirty (30) da,vs period which was enumerated in the acknovvledgemen t issued by the Police, is not following the procedure under Section 154⁽³⁾ of Cr.P.C. and tracing out the passport by' registering the crime.
