Petitioners^{areresidents ofBulkapur village'} Shankarpally^{Mandal, Ranga Reddy District'They are} eking out^{their livelihood by agriculture inthe said} village. They^{have mentionedthe details of the extents'} survey numbers,^{etc' specihcallyin the writ alhdavit'}

It is^{furthercontended' by the petitioners that} respondent^{No.2 laid drainage chamber/manholeat the} entrance^{of the subject property' The said drainage} chamber/manhole IS frequentlY^{overllowing due to} reasons best^{known torespondent No.2. The said}

overflow of drainage water created a pool of water in the subject property and darnaged the crops due to which, the petitioners sustained huge loss of Rs.4.Ool,akhs. There is Tomato crop at present. Therefore, they have submitted representations dated 29.06.2024, 15.07.2024, O5.Oa.2O24, 2t.O8.2O24 and 09.09.2O24 to respondent No.2 with a request to take action. Despite receiving and acknowledging the said representations, respondent No.2 did not act upon the same. Aggrieved by the said inaction of respondent No.2, petitioners liled the present petition.

Whereas learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent No.2 on instructions would submit that respondent No.2 has already prepared report estimating loss of an amount of Rs.8.00Lakhs to Rs. l0.OOLakhs and they are taking all necessar5r steps to address the grievance of the petitioners. Respondent No.2 will also consider the aJoresaid representations submitted by the petitioners and take steps in accordance with law.
