This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of respondent No.3 in not considering his representation dated 06.02.2024 for renewal of his gun licence, as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Heard Mr. Ch. Venkat Ramary learned counsel^{for the petitioner,} and Mr. R. Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government^Pleader for Home, and perused the material on record.

Learned counsel {or the pefitioner submitted that pursuant to the order dated 21.092024 passed by this Court, the petitioner submitted^an application in Form-A3 for renewal of gun^{licencewhich is placed on} record along with Memo vide U.S.R. No.94190. Learned^counsel subrnitted that the order dated 16.08.2021, in proceedings No.HW3 / Arms / 444/SR Nagar, was passed rejecting the request of the^petitioner for renewal of his gun licence on the ground that^{he was ilvolvedin wvo} criminal cases. It is submitted that both the^cases ended^{in acquittaland} as on today, there are no pending cases against^{the petitionerand the}
