his brother Mir Mujahid Ali, execured thc gift deed, paici the requisite challan on 30.O1.2024 and submitted the same to thc 3.d respondent, Sub Registrar. But lor the reasons best known, the 3r,l rsspendsnl, denied to receive the gift deed presented by the petitioner for regrstration. Hence, the present writ petition

The learned Assistant Government pleader for Stamps and Registration submitted that the official respondents will follow the procedure contemplated under Section 71 of the Registration Act, i 908

ln view of^{the above submissions made by both the partics} coupled .r,ith^{the provisionof Scction71 of the RegistrationAct, 1908,} this writ^{petition is disposedof} directing^{the RegisteringAuthority to} receive and^process the subject^{documents, presented bythe} petitioner, subject to the petitioncr complying with the provisions of the Indiar-r Registration Act, 1908, and Indian Stamps Act,^1899, within a period of lhree weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, lt is also open to the Registering Authority to refuse/receive the documcnts presented before him, if he has any other objection, by duly assigning reasons in support of such decision and communicate the said decision to the petitioners. It is made clear that mere registration of documents does not confer title to the property.
