At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, Smt.B.Kavitha Yadav, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has vehemently contended that the writ petition is not maintainable as the relief sought by the petitioner is for renewal of passport and permission to travel abroad.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with a Iiberty to hle appropriate application in C.C.No.14 of 2Ol7 on the lile of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally for renewal of passport and also seeking permission to travel abroad.
Permission as sought for is accorded.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn
by granting liberty as prayed for. No costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous peti,tions pending, if any,
shall stand closed.
