Based on confessions, officers were led to Umesh Vyas (A5), shop at Begumbazar, and found 16 kg silver, 1 kg gold purchased from A1 to A4 for Rs.2 lakhs, Silver melted into ingots r.r,ith the help of P.W.3 and seized 9 kg silver ingots, 7 kg silver items (plates, tumblers, idols, etc.,) under the cover of palchanama. Basing on confession, the officers i('ere led to Anup Kumar Kulla Bappa (4'6), who purchased 600g gold and 7.5 kg silver from A5 for Rs.2 lakhs and these items were melted into 7 gold ingots and 3 silver ingots and in the process of melting 100 grams were depleted.
