This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 492 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short^,Cr.p.C.J by the petitioner, who is arrayed as accused, to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.27O of 2023 on the file of the INSp ADMIN (DD) Police Station, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 403, 4O5,417,42O,425 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with 156 (3) of Cr.p.C.

Heard Sri Mohd. Islamuddin Ansari, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri S. Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No. 1 - State.

Without going into the merits of the case, since the punishment prescribed for the offence alleged against the petitioner is less than seven (07) years, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner/accused to appear before the Investigating Oflicer on or before 2O.O2.2O24 between 02:OO p.m. and 04:O0 p.m. and inturn the Investigating Officer is directed to follow the procedure laid down under Section 4 I - A Cr.P.C. and also the guidelines formulated by the Hon,ble
