This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.4 in S.C. No.5 of 2021 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge at Suryapet, seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispense with his appearance and to conduct examination under Sections 228 and 3 13 of Cr.P.C. through Webex conference.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1 - State.

The leamed counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is seeking a direction to the trial Court to permit the petitioner/A.4 to appear before the trial Court through Video Conference while framing charges and also recording the statements of the petitioner/A.4.

Considering the nature of the relief sought by the petitioner, this Court finds that an application for the said purpose has to be filed before the trial Court

At this stage, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner/A.4 will file such an application before the trial Court and seeks a direction to

the trial Court to consider the said application and dispose of the sameⁱⁿ

accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, on filing of such application by

the petitioner/A.4 before the trial Court, the learned Sessions Judge is hereby directed to c6nsider the said application expeditiously^{and passorders in} accordance with law.
