In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the University to provide him admission by considering him as a local candidate in B & C categories 1n MBBS/BDS course.

Learned Standing^{Counsel for theUniversity} submitted that^{the last date of registrationwas 12'08'2023} and thereafter,^{merit list has been prepared, which shall be} published at the^{time ofindicatingthe web option'} However, it is^{fairly submittedby him that' in case the} petitioner submits^{a representation,the same shall be} dealt with by^{the Universityin accordancewith law'}

In view of the aforesaid submission and in the peculiar facts of the case, the Writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation before the University with regard to his grievance. Needless to state that in case such a representation is made, the University shall decide the same within a period ol two (02) days thereafter. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. No order as to costs.
