This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the^{C ode ol} Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.), is filed by^{the petitiont:r/A-1,} for grant of anticipatory bail in Crime No.855 of^2O2O cf^P.S. Kukatpally, Cyberabad, registered for the^{offences punishable} under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections; 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 196 i .

Heard the learned counsel for the^{petitioner/A-1,} the^'.earned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

The allegation against the petitioner/A- 1 is that on 07 .11.2O2O at 15.00 hours, the de facto complainant lodged a complaint stating that she got married to the petitioner/ A- 1 on 27 .O2.2016 and after three months of marriage, the petitioner/A- 1 used to harass her mentally and physically for want of adCitionzrl dowry. Hence, the complaint.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/A-i would subnrit that the petitioner is an innocent person and never committ.ed any offence as aileged by the respondent-police. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a law-abiding citizen and has nothin.g to do with the alleged offence. Further, he is ready to give sufficient sureties to the satisfaction of this Court to secure his presence on each and every date of hearing to face the trial and also ready to abide by the terms and conditions if any that may be imposed by this Court for his release. Hence, he prayed to grant anti,:ipatory bail to the petitioner/ A- I .

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/A- 1. He also submitte d that charge sheet has already been filed in this case and some stringent conditions may be imposed so that the petitioner may not leave the country during the trial proceedings.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/A- 1 on some conditions.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the petitioner/A- 1 is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, P.S. Kukatpally, Cyberabad, within a period of 15 days from the date of this order. On such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release the petitioner/A- 1 on bail, on his executing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to his satisfaction. Further, the petitioner/A-1 shall deposit his passport before the Court below and he shall not leave the territory of India without prior permission of the Court below. On such release, the petitioner/A- 1 shall also abide by the conditions stipulated in Section a38(2) Cr.P.C and co-operate with the investigating officer in investigating the case.
