Petition under Article 226 o'f the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to Quash the order of Respondent No 2 denying Arms license and direct reconsideration of the application in view of the above facts and Jurisprudence, Alternately, Direct Respondent No 1 and 2, to provide copy of lvlemo No L and O/Arms-1i031212019 dt 19-08-2020 and reports submitted by SHO, ACP, etc., along with all office memos, file notings and all other documentation relied by the Respondent No 1 and 2 for rejecting Arms license to the Petitioner, Or any other order or orders as deemed and appropriate by the Honourable Court in the interest of justice in the facts and circumstances.

This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief^:

Quash the order dr.24.O8.2O2O of respondent No.2 denying Arms license and direct reconsideration of the application in view of the above facts and^{jurisprudence,} alternately direct Respondent Nos. I & 2 to provide copy of Memo No.L&O/ArmsI lo3l2l2o19 dt. 19.08.2020 and reports submitted by SHO, ACP, etc., along with all office memos, hle notings and all other documentation relied by the respondent No.1 and 2 for issuing the memo and preparation of reports and consequential rejecting of Arms license to the petitioner. . . ... "

When the matter is taken up, the party-in-person informs the Court that on 07.11.2O2O an order is passed and the same is served on him on 08.11.2020. He therefore, seeks to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to fi1e appropriate application as warranted by 1aw.

Granting the said liberty, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closecl.
