Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of l,4andamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Registrar of Cooperation since one of the Senior lnspector who stands at Sl.No. 9 in the promotion orders issued by lhe 1st respondent vide Proceedings Rc.No. 71l2017/SR-Vl, dt. 30.08.2017 namely Sreedhar Goud has relinquished/notjoined in his promotional post of Assistant Registrar of Cooperation and the petitioner is the next available eligible and qualified candidate for promotion to the said post basing on the approval of his name by the DPC for promotion to the said post is as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unfair, contrary to rule of promotion and violative of Art. 14, 16 and 21 of lhe Constitution of lndia and consequently direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Registrar of Cooperation from the date on which the persons were promoted basing on the recommendations of the DPC with all consequential benefits.
