This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in depriving the petitioners of the benefits under ‘Rythu Bandhu’ scheme in violation of the guidelines issued under G.O.Rt. No. 231, dated 04.04.2018 in spite of several representations, as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of the petitioners is that they are entitled to receive the monetary benefits under the said scheme, but however, for one reason or the other, their names were eliminated, thereby depriving them of the benefits notified under G.O.Rt.No.231.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Government Pleaders for Revenue and Agriculture. Undisputedly, in terms of G.O.Rt. No. 231, dated 04.04.2018, an effective alternative remedy is available with respect to the complaints arising in the implementation of the Government Order under which a monitoring and grievance redressal mechanism has been created. As per the proceedings No. C/04/2018, dated 24.09.2018, the State had issued guidelines for formation of District Level Committees for implementation of Agriculture Investment Support Scheme (Rythu Bandhu) in Siddipet District. The District Level Monitoring Committee consists of nine members:

Since the District Level Committee has already been constituted, without going into the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3^rd respondent – District Collector to place the grievance of the petitioners before the Committee chaired by him and pass necessary orders thereon, duly considering the same, within the time frame provided under the guidelines. No costs.

The miscellaneous Applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
