Heard learned counsel for petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents 1, 3 & 6, learned Government Pleader for Roads & Buildings for the respondents 2 & 4, and Sri N.Praveen Kumar, learned standing counsel for respondent No.7.

Municipality and Roads & Buildings Department, to follow due procedure as required by law and pay compensation before they dispossess the petitioners from their properties, if they are required for public purpose. However, it is always open to the petitioners as well as respondent-Municipality and R&B Department to have negotiations for settlement. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
